Volunteer Run Organization

FLVAC is a 501(c)3 organization which is primarily supported through donations from residents and businesses like you, within the Borough of Fair Lawn.

The Borough of Fair Lawn also provides the Corps with some annual funding and purchases the ambulances through the state bidding process.

With your support, the Corps can provide care to the residents and businesses of Fair Lawn and surrounding towns.

A look at where your contributions go

First Aid Supplies

From aspirin and alcohol wipes to oxygen tubing and N-95 masks, your dollars go towards keeping our first aid kits and ambulances fully stocked. Your contributions also help us purchase critical equipment such as advanced medical field kits, which are essential, safely get the equipment and supplies to our patients in need.

Property & Equipement

Your donations are not only used to provide the best possible care to those in need, but also to maintain and upgrade our facilities and equipment. Funds are used for important inspections and systems to keep our property and equipment up to code. Your contributions also help us make crucial repairs in our building. Our headquarters is like a home, requiring constant upkeep, maintainance and repair.

Uniforms

Your donations play an important role in ensuring that our volunteer ambulance squad is professionally dressed and protected from viruses and pathogens and allow us to be easily recognizable while on duty. The funds used to purchase uniforms help us maintain a cohesive, safe, and professional image, which in turn helps to build trust with the community we serve.

2023 Contributions

Your generous donations in 2023 have allowed our organization purchase vital equipment, complete much needed maintenance and make necessary repairs and upgrades, as well as provide for the well-being of our members and community. All of this costs money, and that is where you, our supportive community come in.

With the money raised through our fund drive and other donations, we were able to cover those expenses. However, there is still more work to be done and we are constantly seeking additional funding to continue serving our community in the best possible way. Every dollar counts and we are grateful for your continued support in making a difference in the lives of those in need.
